Better late than ever... below the results from the 4 shows our team enterred in August 2017.

Druskininkai 3x IDS in Lithuania 4.-6.8.17

One of my best friends, Seija Ristola (knl Funfanny's) and I made our traditional summer road trip (again) to southern Lithuania, the spa city of Druskininkai that once a year becomes the hearth of the Baltic dog show world when the three International Dog Shows take place the first weekend of August. Funny enough, one of the main languages in the village, beside Lithuanian and Russian is Finnish. THAT many Finnish dog show enthusiasts travel there even if the trip is long. 1055 km from my home in Finnish Lakeland But the this is always also an exotic and exciting trip, and till now (during 3 years) also we have great success in Druskininkai.

The Aussies Seija and I had "packed" into the car were (in order of age):

FI & EE & LT CH LVV-16 Kisamba's Dream Surfer aka Maisa and her son FI & LT CH Funfanny's I Have A Dream aka Jetro. Also Maisa's daughter, just 16-month-old Naatti (Finsweng Tadaa) was part of the orchestra, as well as our Australian import, 10-month old Horrieglen Supa Strike Force aka Schooner. 

The results from the 3 IDS's are:

Maisa: 2x CACIB, 1x BOB and 1x BOS

Jetro: 3x CACIB, 2x CAC => LT CH, 2x BOB

Naatti: 1x CACIB, 3x CAC => LT CH, res-CACIB, 1x BOS

Schooner: 2x jun-CAC => LT JCh, 1x BOS

Schooner trotted his way to jun-cac's and became LT JCh

Mäntyharju (FIN) all breed show 26.8.2017

As mentioned earlier, during August 2017 the Finsweng -team enterred just 4 shows. The results from the three first you find above. The forth show was the one held in the Finnish village called Mäntyharju. It was held on Saturday the 26th of August and the 17-month-old bitch Finsweng Trallalaa aka Tomu, was the representant of our team. And she did well! She won the junior class and got an excellent.

Show results from May to July, 2017

Sorry for not have updated this blog for ages! For you who have followed me on Facebook have seen that besides bringing up two litters of lovely pups we have done some showing, with, in fact, very nice results. Those pups who are co-owned by me will get their own pages soon, but here listing and some pics from our shows in May, June and July. August posting coming in the end of this month.

In May Naatti was shown twice. The 6th of May she won the junior class, was placed BB-2 under terrier specialist Maija Mäkinen and got her first Finnish CC! Just 13 months old. (you might just imagine how happy I was (and still are)) As you see on the photos below, Naatti is not so convinced... ;) The same day, at another show, her sister Tomu got the great result EXC (also in junior class)

 The 14th of May Naatti won again junior clas and was placed BB-3 with res-CC. Happy!

In June (first weekend) Selma and I travelled to Tallinn, Estonia, with Naatti and Muro Both bitces finalized their Estonian championships during this trip! Naatti became EE JCh and won also the Estonian Junior Winner 2017 -title, and Muro became EE Ch. Happy, happy, happy!

The following weekend Naatti did it again: In Pieksämäki 10.6.2017 under terrier specialist Vesa Lehtonen she won the junior class, was BB-2 and got her 2nd Finnish CC. Again happy faces :)

In July our team enterred just one show, the all breed show in Mikkeli the 8.7.2017. Great results again! Tomu (Finsweng Trallalaa) was BB-2 and got res-CC (photo below). Her sister Naatti was BB-3 and brother Piko won junior class with EXC and CQ (certificate class). I'm so happy and proud, and greatful for having such wonderful friends who take so well care of their Finsweng aussies.

The show year of 2017 for our team, kennel Finsweng started in southern Estonia, in Valga the 4th of February. Here Team Finsweng consisted of my husband Pasi and my girls Selma (7 years) and Ida (13 years) and 3 Finsweng aussies and Muro ( PMJV-14 Melukylän Zuppaduida ) , and of course, me too :-) I'm so proud of us all; even if it was rushy at the ringside (and in the ring) my girls were great help in handling our dog, they helped me to fix them before the show, and both Pasi and Ida took photos. The lightening and crowd in the hall made it difficult to take pics, and both had to assist in passing dogs to the ring, but many nice shots was anyway saved from the day. Last weekend all our family visited the town of Valga in souther part of Estonia. On both Saturday the 4th of February, 2017, and on Sunday the 5th of February, 2017, National all breed shows were held. Since two of our family members are eager photographers I have two cameras with nice photos to share to you! However, work makes an obstacle to blog writing, so here just shortly about our new star, 10-month-old Naatti (Finsweng Tadaa, d.o.b 21.3.2016) who won BOB ja BOB-junior both days, and won also BIG-4 on Sunday! I'm so super happy and proud of this wonderful little girl that I lost my heart to already when she was 5 minutes old. She is the most happy and easy companion at home, but also a natural show girl. She really makes my dog show hobby to an easy, relaxing and fun activity! Here three photos taken on Sunday 5.2.2017 by Ida Turunen (my 13-year-old daughter).
