Hint of spring in the air!

In February and beginning of March the winter here in Finnish Lakeland is as its best, and during the many sunny days there is also promise of spring in the air. And believe or not, but the February's sun in warming so much that you can walk without jacket on the ice! This is a photo from a typical "daily escape" from my work and everyday stuff. Since we have plenty of space here in Finnish Lakeland the dogs can run free and you don't need to be afraid to meet anybody. Perfect for balancing my work! Every now and then I need to plan my routes better and keep the dogs' leeds on hand, since we rent lakeside cottages and our guests also enjoy the walks and skiing on the frozen lake. Btw, did you know that February is the month with most light here in Finland? It's because of the snow's mirroring effect plus it's often high pressure and sun in February.
